Responses to questions in general

Do you think that when we answer a question here on MedHelp, it is okay to answer based only on our knowledge, or should we do research on the subject first, or should we should have facts that can be proven?

We answer according to our own experience.  If the situation is grave or serious, however, there are doctors monitoring us who will take over.

Since most of us suggest they see a doctor, the doctors monitoring us agree and say nothing.

I think most people answer based on experience with their own medical issues.
