I am male, 55 years old. My SGPT is 67. What should I do? My HBA1C is also in the range of 8-10%. Please advice.

I'm not a medical professional but I tried to look up your condition on the internet.

I would not drink any alcohol and it sounds like your diabetes? is not under control. If you don't have insurance you might need to go to a county hospital to get your diabetes under control. It's a pretty long wait to get in, but probably once you get in they will take care of you. I will say a prayer for you, it sounds like your liver enzymes are elevated. Take care.

In my opinion, you are diabetic.  This elevated SGPT is possibly related to your glucose levels.  This should definitely be followed up by your PCP/Family Physician and/or an Endocrinologist.  Have you had a serum Liver Profile done?

Any medications?  Gallbladder problems in the past?  History of heavy alcohol drinking?

your a1c should be below 7 as you well know i would advise start taking an afternoon walk and see if you can get the a1c level down
