I am smelling onions most all the time. I love onions but not to smell constantly. What are te medical reasons for smelling onions or things that isn't there?

What you have is known as 'cacosmia' a distorted smell perception.Treatment includes assurance with no active therapy (because many of these will naturally resolve).
Best wishes.

Not pregnant! I'd be in the news if I were considering age and hysterectomy. Thank you both for excellent answers. I eat onions, but, not a lot. Still looking for answer.

I would have to agree with both comments. Onions are in the garlic family and when eaten can produce smell through your pours. Even being around them can do this. My first job was at Burger King and my uniforms would smell of onions. As for being pregnant your sense of smell can become very acute.
