Good for you, Fortunet29! I hadn't thought of that as Boston suggested it was caused by an injury. A gallbladder attack can be very serious - can make you unconscious if the pain is severe enough.
Boston, please see a doctor asap. And Fortunet29, kudos!
I am a male and will look into anything to get rid of this pain. I want to fix the problem not prolong it. My son is 3 months old and will be older soon. I would feel so bad if i couldn't even throw a ball with him ;/
So I had a thought about this, I don't know if you are male or female but you mentioned not being able to pick up your son, I assume this means you have a young son and if you are female that could mean you gave had a some what recent pregnancy, if you are male my theory could still apply. What happened to me was years of this strange pain in all the same places you have mentioned, it went on for several years and like you I attributed it to an old injury, however soon after my son was born it became unbearable, the dr thought it was muscular but I knew instinctively after after a few unsuccessful muscle relaxor scripts that it was Gaul stones, unfortunately my knowing this was not enough, after many sonograms that showed no stones I was still convinced, but the dr could not help me. So I kept going to different dr's but getting the same responses , they said it sounded like gallstones but the sonogram never showed them, eventuley I collapsed and in the hospital they discovered that they had made a mistake, I did in fact have gallstones, lots of them, and now because treatment had been delayed for so long there was damage in my liver ducts and I was jaundiced. I as a result had to have several surgerys, not just the realitivly simple one to remove the gallbladder. Anyway my point is, push, research and figure out what is wrong yourself and then advocate for yourself. Your pain sounds a lot like mine and though gallstones occur in both sexes and all ages a recent pregnancy is a major trigger.
I had received a cortozone shot and it felt fine for a few months. Now the only time it feels good is with 800 mg of ibuprofen. All of this advice is great! I was told once that I have a chronicle strained rotator cuff??? I doubt that when sometimes I squeeze my finger and it hurtsy shoulder neck chest and back.
look up brachial neuritis or neuropathy, it sometime happens to people who have damaged their brachial nerve secondary to another injury. it runs along the thoracic spine but controls the right arm and shoulder and chest. I had neck surgery and damaged this nerve by getting into a car accident while wearing my neck brace. It hurts like the dickens and takes a long time to heal but if the therapy you are receiving is not targeting this and you do have this problem it will never get better. It is a particular little bugger.
Sounds like you need physical therapy. Your doctor can give you a prescription for water therapy in a warm swimming pool....
