Small Pink Lump on left hand

i have this small pink in colour pimple like lump on my left arm just at the starting of my hand on the upper side. It doesnt pain or anything when i touch it and it has suddenly poped up 2 months ago , i though if i give it time it might go away but it doesnt seem to leave. I also tried poking it and squeezing it which i know i shouldnt but i though if it might pop it might go away but it doesnt seem to pop no matter how much pressure i apply and when i poked it it just came back within a few days so i dont know what it is, i am deciding to go to a doc soon but i though i would try getting advice from here please any help would be highly appericated. I am posting a picture on how it looks hope it might help
