Stomach

This is kind of embarrassing, but I have a question. I talked to my doctor about my problem, but he thinks it is a viral infection. I know I should not question my doctor, but anyways, my stomach has been hurting. If I lay on it, I get sharp pains. I have also had cramping, sometimes to the point to where I feel like I am going to double over. Everyday early in the morning I run to the bathroom at least 3 times. The bowel movement are mostly always yellow. I have been going through this for more than a month. I have also have nausea. Some days are worse than others. I was wondering if any one has any idea of what could be going on. Should I see another doctor for a second opinion? Thanks for all your help.

Well, never think you can question a physician; they are knowledgeable but not gods.
I would get a second opinion from a gastroenterologist.  Gastro viruses usually don't linger for long periods of time.  Get another opinion.

Good luck.

It could be a Gall bladder attack, is it worse when you eat the pain is usually severe and is located on the right under the ribs and radiating up to the shoulder and into the back, cut out fats, dairy, and dont eat in the evening if you think it could be this google Gall bladder they will have a list of foods to eat and ones to avoid.peppermint tea helps for pain,  other wise yes it could be something you ate caused a stomach infection..
