Strange injury or disease. Plz clear up the situation.

I cut my right hand's palm on ice.  After a few months, the skin was recovering and sealing.  Then i accidently scratched myself very hard with a metal ruler. There was nothing other than a stinging pain.  After a few days there was two pinpoint size points (black) and a brown patch of skin.  Is it serious? What is the cause? What is it? What is the cure? Thank you.

I'm not a doctor but I would say "a few months" is an awfully long time for skin to start sealing up after a cut unless it was a pretty gnarly injury. And I don't mean gnarly as in cool, I mean gnarly as in gruesome.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and welcome.
I cannot confirm the exact cause of your symptoms without examining you. Any cut or bruise heals by scar formation. If you try to scratch it can lead to bleeding. In your case I will suggest you to see a doctor and get examined. A clinical examination is absolutely necessary. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. I hope it helps.
Best wishes and kind regards!
