Stroke Like Symptoms

Good Morning....I have high blood pressure and for the last couple of months I've experienced problems with my stomach and bowels.  I've been tested and it was determined that I have Chronic (when you can't move your bowels comfortably).  Last night, I had some pineapples and thereafter began to throw up.  During this, I begin to experience a nose bleed, headache, and stomach ache.  Today, all the symptoms are back with the on again/off again headache along with a tingling pain down my left arm.  I didn't take my high blood pressure medicine this morning.  Could this be the problem or am I experiencing Stoke-like symptoms.

Also as far as your high blood pressure medicine goes, don't stop taking it until a doctor says to.  You may even consider switching medicines for that as well.  If you don't already take it, may ask your doctor about something called propranolol.  It is for people who suffer high blood pressure and migraines. I use it as a migraine preventative. I still get them but usually not so bad anymore.  Good luck.

First off that sounds terrible and I am so sorry. I would get in to see your doctor right away, explain your symptoms and whatever you do, don't leave until you're satisfied with the explanation and assistance.  Just last Fall I was having similar symptoms but without the nose bleed.  I ended up being constipated to the point that the feces was so compacted that I was put on lactulose. This is medicine to help with the loosening matter built up along the intestinal tract. Ask your doctor what they might do if it was them. My doctor also got me started on medicine to help with nausea and vomiting as well, and something to help with the headaches/migraines that would also come on at the same time.  I hope this helps. Good luck.

Is your high blood pressure being controlled with the meds? Did you check it this morning to see if it was high? I would recommend getting in to see your Dr today, as soon as possible.
