My neice has this reaction. One of the produce workers at a major chain here said they are using certain pesticides on fruits, specifically cuties, and to try the organic one... Good luck!

No. You're right - but I couldn't find this condition in my Harrison's.  Sorry - stay well.

Thank you for your wishes. I mean do you think that sweating only from face for a moment when eating citrus fruits can be considered as hyperhidrosis?

So glad you don't have that condition.  Perhaps you should avoid citrus fruits as if you were allergic to them?   Good health to you and I hope you find a remedy!

Thank for your input, but I do not have hyperhidrosis. I do not excessevly sweat during the day. Just when eating citric acid fruits, like lemons and oranges.

Hi, this information is from the below. I used the word similar to spicy foods as is setting off a similar reaction in the bodys sweat signal. In this case could be more of a allergic reaction. I was short for time when replying to go into detail but did want to try to shed some help.

According to the International Hyperhydrosis Society (IHS), several foods can trigger excessive sweating. These include chocolate, sour foods, sweet foods and citric acid.

My Merck manual says "hyperhidrosis warrants medical attention because it can be a sign of an overactive thyroid, a low blood sugar level, or an abnormality in the part of the nervous system that controls sweating."

Do you have any respected medical references that say this reaction is similar to eating spicy foods?  If so, would you please send me the link(s) via private message as I'm not finding any?
