Swollen neck glands

For several months now I have noticed a lump on the right side of my neck.  I initially thought it was a knot in my muscle, but now I have swollen neck glands  with no sore throat.  What could be causing this

Hello, could be some hidden infection, if you still have the lump, then I would certainly see your doctor or go to an ER.

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Micro....perhaps ur body is trying to fight off sone kind of internal infection. Have you been on antibiotics recently, infected tooth, getting a cold? Could it be a swollen lymph, the neck has approx 31 of them in the neck area. Best bet is just go to the emergency..seems to be a long time since you've had it. Good luck
Peace

Maybe a cyst / nodule A thyroid scan would check for this. Also a carotid
doppler to check the blood flow through arteries in the neck.
