Symptoms, What Could It Be?

Okay, I posted on here a couple days ago about chest pains and heartburn, they got so bad I went to the Emergency Room and I was diagnosed with GERD. Now I have found yet another something that bothers me.

I have a mouth ulcer (since beginning of week) and white spots on my tongue.... This worried me, could it be from GERD? I went to looking up my symptoms on the internet and I noticed that Mouth Ulcers, White Spots On Tongue, and an Unexplained Fever (which I had at the emergency room) are symptoms for HIV and to fuel my worry, I noticed that it also said red or brown spots under the skin, I have had them since last year, the doctor didn't seem to be concerned with the spots.

I am celebate and have not been in contact with blood or drugs, etc. that I know of.... What could this be? Can you get HIV from touching doorknobs then using the bathroom?

No, you can NOT get HIV from touching doorknobs or from using the bathroom, so don't worry about that part.

If you have not had a blood transfusion, and are celebate, I would say the chance of having HIV is next to zero. You may, however, have what is called Candida, this is a yeast infection that has some of the symptoms you mentioned. Ask the doctor of a stool test to rule this out.
