The itching is going to make me lose my mind

The itching is going to make me lose my mind

I have had the strangest symptoms for about 6 months now, they havent gotten worse or better and I have no health insurance so I cant go see a doctor. The first symptom it the worst, i dont know wha causes it, but I randomly start itching, it can last anywhere from an hour to an entire day. It is the most intense itch I have ever felt and scratching doesnt make it go away. The itching also seems to migrate across my body slowly, it may start on my chest, work down to the thighs, back up to my shoulder, then further up to my scalp. Its maddening.

After the itching goes away, my thighs get random BB sized purple spots, almost like bruises. Some are larger than others, some are groups very tightly together, others are alone. I have quit smoking, I bathe thoroughly twice a day, I have tried shaving all of my the hair from my pelvic area, nothing helps. Please for the love of god tell me what is going on!

It might be an allergy induced by anything (your detergent for example). I believe the bruises are because of the severe itching. Think of what has changed in your life the last 6 months (furniture, soap, detergent, carpets, deodorants etc) and switch it back. If it still doesn't work you might want to see a doctor. Hope I've helped.
