Throbbing headaches

I have a question. I get alot of headaches, they aren't normal headaches though. The generally only occur in the back of my head and mostly on the left side of my head. They are a throbbing headache sometimes or other times it can be an instant onset. I've seen a surgeon, she found I have benine lymph nodes in the back of my head. She did surgery to remove them and my headaches went away. The problem is the lymph nodes have came back 4 years later, she has done an ultrasound and MRI and they came back negative for anything abnormal, I'm wondering why they came back, the only way I can get rid of the headaches sometimes is taking alot of advil.  I've gone back to her and she says she can do surgery to get rid of them. I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions.

Well the nnodes contribute a lot to your problem, im assuming.
Are there any stressful factors in your life? if sso it could be the streee manifesting in a headache, and the nodes make it worse.
im not any kind of expert but ill tell you some experience of mine: if you have a headache, wait for about 7 minutes then take medication. if you take the medication right away it wont do much, if you take it too late it wont help at all.
also, hope you feel better and good luck removing the nodes!
ps, if they come back again go to another doctor also, and get a second opinion
