Twtiching, Internal tremors, spasms..

I am 28 year old male. I am having twitching, spasms on and off for last 2 years after  extensive cycling sessions for weeks. When it started, I also had pins and needles in my arms. I cant stretch my arms or legs out of fear of spasms. I also feel very minor tremors and slight stiffness in my fingers/hands. And I feel internal tremors when I lay down. Sometimes those tremors get unbearable just when I am about to sleep and occasionally, I also feel my arms are being squeezed from inside at the same time which doesnt let me go into deep sleep. This is resulting in poor sleep and fatigue. I also get finger jerks some times now. Mistyping and dropping things is becoming bit more common although its not much of a problem. Any idea whats wrong? I went to a GP when it started. He played aroune with my fingers and toes, made me catwalk, ran through blood and thyroid tests. But nothing was found. Was prescribed vitamins b12/d but they didnt helped. Any idea what it could be? I am not feeling any numbness. Just slight stiffness twitching and cramps of stretching. Also my head is becoming sensitive to headaches.

It sounds like the Dr. checked you for a tendon issue.  Sometimes overuse of a specific kind can cause that kind of issue.  Clearly the that extensive bike session did some damage.  Since your doctor hasn't given you a good answer and it's still ongoing, I'd take it to the next level.  Either see a different GP OR ask your GP to a referral in someone who can check you out more thoroughly.  Orthopedist or Neurologist come to mind.  Good luck and let us know --  oh, regarding the headache.  This can be tension from all of your stiffness from the other things going on.  Come back and tell us what happens!

I have seen couple of GPs/Orthopedics and they have ruled out seeing neurologist as there's no numbness or limit in motion and have prescribed me various supplements which havent worked while the thyroid one attempted to cure this using atenolol. I am also suffering from darker vision so currently an eye doc is diagnosing me for glaucoma.

Will be seeing a neuro if it stays that way for long.
