URGENT!!!
Hi my sister said that she has been having these symptoms and Iam wondering if anyone has any answers that may help?
she went to the doctors today and did a blood and urine test and they came back fine.
"Charlie horse" style muscle cramping. Back, abdominal diagonal muscles, leg, foot....you name it will cramp, involuntary muscle twitches in variable area. Shoulder, forearm, back, butt, legs. Again, you name it...it will twitch.
Then there is an intense pain that we are not sure yet if it is a muscle cramp or pain from something else- this is where the docs keep thinking kidney or spleen. It starts just under the ribcage level at the spinal cord and intensifies. It radiates out horizontally just under the rib cage to the front all the while the pain in the original area (up to 2in on both side of the spine) intensifies. I use Lamaze breathing techniques to get thru it and it is usually gone in less than three minutes.
So this past week started with the intense back pain. Followed by a couple days of twitches and muscle spasm in other areas. By Thursday the back pains were coming way too regular and my urine flow Oh, there is also a foreign, sweet taste that develops in my mouth sometimes, usually the same times i get nauseous

I am sorry that I do not have an answer for you but I will tell you what I did when my doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me ( they kept telling me to see a therapist) I searched online for EVERY symptom I had and kept going back and saying well maybe it could be this, or that or possible this.. eventually someone started listening and after 22 years of daily headaches that kept getting worse and worse and other symptoms developing like hearing lose and blurry eyes, not to mention trouble breathing they realized I have an allergy to milk protein. Being the addicted coffee drinker I am .. half and half with equal please you can see why my symptoms never went away,. Anyway my point is do not give up and MAKE them keep looking.. in my case I am not sure if it could have cost me my life but my sanity was truly at stake. Best of luck
I wonder if it's a neurological problem. Has she seen a neurologist or had any MRIs done?
