Vomiting, shivers, sweats, headache's

Hi i really don't know what to put the question under as my doctor seems to just say i have a viral infection. Basically i have had, about 4 times in as many months, vomiting, shivers, sweats and headache's for about a week each time. as i say my doctor just says its a virral infection and to rest and drink plenty of fluids...has anyone else experinced this or have any medical suggestions i can take to my doctor?

I also have had, just last night, whilst ill with the above, an exteme stinging sensation on the outside of my left lower ankle? There is nothing visible from the outside anyone any ideas?

Hi

I'm not really near anyone that gets ill alot or children really, i live in London, UK and do sometimes catch the underground which can be very busy, but no one else seems to catch the illness. i did think it might have been pork that i predominatly ate before i got ill but this seems not to be the case as i have been ill whithout eating pork

Is there anything you suggest i can ask my doctor, get any tests done etc. as he alsways just says get rest drink water and take paracetomal but having had it so many time there must be something he can check/ test?? would be much apreciated if you can help

Nick
