What is a safe amount of ibuprofen to take for pain relief.
Hi,
I've had tooth pain for about 4 days. It ranges from mild to severe. Feels like something with the nerve. Is it safe to take 3 ibuprofen and 1 Tylenol at the same time. It's about a week until I can see a dentist. My coworker suggested I take 3 ibuprofen and 1 Tylenol... she said she had done the same thing for months when she had tooth pain.

It is best to take one or the other at one time. Or alternate every 6 hours. Pain means infection so go soon!
