What is wrong with me? Should I see a doctor?

Alright so heres my case...

I woke up got some food at the dining hall then headed to the gym. I was starting a new workout, ( i have been working out for a considerable amount of time now but just took a month off to relax and back day 1) today was legs workout and i did a lot. After i was done i left woosy but alright and very sore in the leg region, which is to be expected. After this left to the house. Laid down for 20 minutes with some ice on my legs. Then had some food and watched a basketball game. After that I came back to the house sat down on the couch and popped open a natural light (beer) and drank it. As soon as i finished it i had a weird sensation and immediately had to throw up, which is very weird considering im a pretty experienced drinker. I threw up but during i felt something in my head give way. After i was done throwing up i noticed my eyes where dark dark red and my face was swollen. It felt like I was hanging upside down and all the blood was rushing to my head. I waited a few minutes to see if it would go away, it didnt. I got an ice bag and put it on my head, still swollen. My friend checked my pupils and said they where non responsive to changes in light. My vision for a while after i threw up was slightly blurred but only lasted a few minutes. Its been about 6 hours since the incident and the swelling has subsided for the most part but did last for about 2-3 hours. My eyes also felt as if i had not slept in days and where almost being pushed closed. The redness in my eyes lasted for about 45 minutes to an hour.

It is possible that the school has a medical clinic??  I would get checked out, money or not. If not, then go to the ER once they bill you, call and make arrangements to pay them a little each month.  Good luck.

How could you take the time to write all this down before going to a hospital or doctor?  This is not a normal thing to happen to anyone let alone after a physically enduring exercise.  Many people have had strokes and other things such as heart attacks or other just a serious things happen to them after a strenuous exercise routine.  Seriously if I were you I would be going to ER especially when your eyes were not reacting to light or dark.  I hope you have gone to the hospital before you can read this.

Yes i live in America. I went to the ER. My blood pressure and heart beat where normal. However that was just the preliminary. I didn't actually go into the ER because i dont have medical insurance and it was going to be over 350 bucks just to get to speak with a doctor and I dont have a job. Im a full time student. The thing is that the second time I threw up (when the swelling began) is when the swelling started. I felt a little woosy after the gym but i felt fine after I got some food into me. When the swelling started was about 3 hours after i finished at the gym.

ok. you should probably have gone to the doctors b4 now by the sounds of it. You could have burst something. I would talk to the gym instructor b4 doing any more gym work they might tell you what you should do. Are you in America??? If you are I can understand why you haven't been to the doctors yet. But if your in a country that doesn't charge for ER consultations you should have gone.
