White Bump On My Tongue

Hello, I have a white bump on my tongue.  Is there something I can buy over the counter to put on it to get rid of it?

If it is something more, you will have to be treated for Thrush.  If it is something less, good.  Thrush is fungal.  It is a form of Candidas.  If not very serious, you can try seeing a naturopath and get on a Candidas diet.  It is a radical diet, but I know a man who went through this diet and successfully cured the yeast infection he had.  Yeast is also fungal.  You see, conventional medicine really does have its place, but natural medicine can help more without doing harm.  The Candidas diet may be radical, but it is not harmful.

is it just a little white painful bump? any discharge or other discoloration around it? have you eaten a lot of salt or sugar or anything unusual? is it just one bump or a patch of white bumps?

its usually a small infection that goes away on its own and can be treated with antiseptic mouthwash and gargling with warm salt water.. to control the pain you can use oragel or something like it...

i get them once in a while if its what im thinking of and its usually no big deal, but if it doesnt clear up in a week or so or if it gets worse i would see a docter.

its a little whit bump right? like a single taste bud?
