Why is it red around my mouth and itchy and spread?
My trimmer accidentally touched my mouth and now it's real itchy and red and spreads when I scratch? This happened two months ago, I use anti itch cream because if I scratch the redness spreads and so does the itching and it'll eventually go away but come back. What can this be?
You need to be very careful with tea tree oil. Read the instructions, as I don't think that you should apply it neat to the skin.
You can purchase some antifungal creams without a prescription from the pharmacy if you cannot afford to see your doctor. The pharmacist will be able to advise you by looking at the problem skin and suggest the appropriate cream. The doctor is the best choice though.

Thank you so much! I thought it could possibly be that. I bought tree oil soap which was supposed to fight off fungus and it came in yesterday. When I applied it, kind of burned at first and seemed like it was fighting it because it looked different. The area turned blackish
