My 21 month old daughter is currently receivng ABA therapy for a diagnosis she received of PPD/NOS. I called Early Intervention at 15 months when she still was only babbling and they started speech therapy at 17 months. It took 2 months to evaluate, she almost didn't receive any treatment because she does babble so much. After 3 months of still only babble, a psychologist came in and said she has this PPD/NOS and will refer her for ABA. her ABA has just begun last week. My daughter has had two febrile seizueres, one at 12 months and one at 18 months this has put her in the care of a pediatric neurologist and her neurologist has said she is just fine... so has her pediatarician... her red flags are that she does flap her arms when she gets excited, she does line things up and likes to close things like doors & cabinets... she only answers to her name when she isn't distracted and brings everythning to the couch... her good points are that she knows i'm mommy, she knows my dad is grandpa and calls him that, she waves bye bye when people leave or when a show is over she'll wave at the tv and make the rest of us do it too. she has execellent eye contact and laughs when we laugh and gets sad when she shes someone else sad. she plays well with other children and plays with toys in the right way like shape sorters and balls and cars etc... she has a baby brother and when he cries, she brings him his paciier and tries to make him laugh. she still doesn't point... but she she will take me by the hand and guide me to what she wants or needs. our pediatrican has set us up with an ENT and some blood testing but while we wait for the results, i wonder what you think.

She sounds fine to me Excellent actually,I think those are all fine qualities that are gonna develope into wonderful lifely qualities.She has great individualalityness and wonderful development and individual understanding exploring and her own personality.I don't like the to seizures at all.The lining things up and cabinets are a very unique quality she will not go nutty anytime in her life.lets pray on that and she is a very intelligant little girl they will soon see.God Blesss you and don't worry.She's a blessing.
