bleeding after smear test

I wanted to know why i have been bleeding after having a smear test for 8 days non stop. I started light bleeding then after a few days went to heavy and at present light again. I am inbetween periods and was not due for 15 days.

You might be anemic and the pap smear just set off the bleeding of the cervix.  You should be okay after your next period - Meanwhile, have your iron levels checked and stay away from green tea.  Green tea makes you anemic.
Peanuts, sunflower seeds and spinach contain lots of iron.
