body cramping

body cramping

I have been weightlifting for 16 years now. In the past year I have been getting painful cramping in my abdominal muscles,obliques, and lateral muscles. I also get them in my neck around my throat and lower chin area. My wife says these are weird areas to be cramping and I agree. This happens usually at least once a day. I try to drink plenty of water, but maybe not enough? I take a multi vitamin twice a day, but maybe I need more potassium? It's just weird that i have never had these cramps before in my life and only within the past year. Any suggestions? Thanks!

i was going to ask if your getting enough potassium. you've already thought of that. try eating more bananas and drinking more orange juice. take care. remar
