My dauughter is 9yrs old & for about the past 9months she has had these unusual syptoms. It started out with a marble size lump in her left breast. Then headaches accompanied by a fever followed shortly after. Then stomach aches. Also when she eats just the slightest piece of chocolate it turns her stomache & she has diarrhea. The doctors I have taken her to explained the lumps as part of her blossoming into an adult. The headaches were played off as allergies along with the fever. The sickness with chocolate was explained as a slight allergy. But the one thing they could not tell me is why all these different things keep on happening at the same time. Maybe the 1st time it happened I took it as just a streak of bad luck as far as sickness goes, but now after it has went on for 9 months week after week, day after day it is not just bad luck and all these things are JUST happening at once but r not related to something bigger. I believe all the symptoms she is experiencing is in play to some sort of that is beyond me at this point. I would just really love to find out if anyone out there has experienced these symptoms all at the same time & then it would go away but come back after a few weeks. if anyone has experienced this please let me know what it is and how can I fix it. Please I am so exhausted of seeing my little girl in pain. I need some advice if anyone has any to offer. I am on the verge of losing my mind and my job if I can't get her better. She is such a sweet little girl and I just want her to get better and be able to go a month without being sick...... Concerned mom:(

What type of doctor are you?

I wish i could give you some advice on this issue, but i've never experienced it . I just want to say good luck to finding a cure for this and keep us informed on how things turn out. Im praying for yall and god bless.

Ask your Pediatrician to recommend a  Pediatric Gastroenterologist
A Gastroenterologist specializes in everything to do with digestion

Dr Al, I sure do hope that all the doc's are right. It would be a cure to all my sleepless nite's. I am going to try and not worry, but it is very hard. Thank u very much for ur advice.:)

No i haven't taken her to a ped gast, but yes she has went to an allergist. The allergy doc was the one who said the stomach ache & sickness when she ate chocolate was due to dairy allergy. What exactly is a pediactric gast?

I agree with the docs explanations for her "symptoms". I don't see a unifying connection between the symptoms. You do not need to concerned.

Have you taken her to a Pediatric Gastroenterologist? I would also take her to an Allergist
to be tested
