Yes, I had quite alot of dental work done while on it. But you should make sure you tell them of all the medications you are on.

In general, there are no contraindications to dental work while on an opiate.

There is a certain qualification. Certain medications used for general anaesthesia act together with opiates to interfere with breathing. This is not the case with a local.

Make sure you inform the dentist and opt for a local anaesthetic (lidocaine) that will not interfere with respirations.
