cure:sensitive nerve endings-end of nose, external

HELP ! I suffer from a chronic external nose irritation. Doc says it's sensitive nerve endings. They tingle/throb constantly at the tip(feels like contact). The area below my lower lip is similarly affected. I'm told it may be a common nerve(trigeminal?). Swiping yields but temporary relief. It always creeps back. I've tried a PLETHORA of topicals to no avail: OTCs of drug stores, returns to East Coast manufacturers, and compounded medicine, et al. I don't want to take an oral, I take ~6 currently, for such a small localized area. I've had it for several years.

This may sound silly, but, I would try a chiropractor. You could have a pinched nerve in your neck that is causing this sensation, a couple of adjustments just might do the trick. It sure won't hurt to try, looks like you have tried everything else.
