Technically a fever under 100.3 isn't considered treatable. If you have been diagnosed with a sinus infection you should be on an antibiotic. Sinus infections traditionally were treated for 21 days with a n antibiotic, however, recent trends in medicine have changed to a 7 or 10 day treatment. If you have finished your antibiotic and are still having symptoms you should followup with your MD. The wet bandaid over your lumbar puncture site is a different issue. That wound is gives direct access to your CNS and cerebral spinal fluid. If it is infact infected it can be serious. Some signs and symptoms are redness or warmth at the site, puss or drainage coming from the site, or increased soreness. If any of these symptoms are present you should call your MD. If you cannot reach him or her, go to an urgent care or an emergancy room. And ALWAYS if you have trouble breathing call 911. I am not trying to scare you. Your symptoms are all over the place, meaning multiple system involvement. You should at the very least see your MD. I hope you feel better soon.
Sinus infections can make you pretty sick. Did'nt your Dr recommend an antibiotic for the infection? Did they do any blood work? That would show if you did indeed have an infection.
