dont know whats wrong with me?

at one point i have a fever and the next i dont im very cold but sweating as well. my eyes hurt, my muscles are very sore. my lower back and chest hurt as well. i went to the docter and they just told me i had a virus. but it feels like something worse.any suggestions?
