extreme fatique and headache

I have had a headache for about 4 days now off and on on both temples and around my eyes as well as the top of my head. My eyes feel very tired and dry. I have been extremely fatigued to the point it feels uncontrollable. I have never had a headache in my life until now so I'm kind of worried as to what this might be.

Yes thyroid problems can cause muscle, and joint pain along with the headache and weight gain.  The first time when I responded  to your comment I didn't know about the weight gain issues because you didn't mention them.  Hopefully after you begin treatment for your thyroid, you will feel better soon.     Good Luck

Ok, let me try this again. I tried to post a minute ago but it didn't take. Thanks everyone for your advice. Went to the doc yesterday. No sinus issues, bloodwork normal. He thinks maybe it's my thyroid because of the symptoms (rapid weight gain, headache and fatigue nonstop) but last night I started getting shooting pains in the bottom of my feet, kept me up all night :( I have no idea what's going on. This morning my feet are tingly and feels like pins and needles when I walk. Can thyroid issues cause nerve pain? Also the headache came back about an hour after I ate. I'm so confused. Don't know what to do.

Believe me a headache can definately give you some fatigue.  Do you have pain behind your eyes also and in the cheek area. Could be sinuses any drainage down the throat facial pain? get checked for possible sinus infection. Hope this helps you.

Hello eye strain can cause this type of headache, but it sounds like it could very possibly be sinus or allergy related. A lot of people are having problems right now with the change in the weather, different allergens in the air etc.  The headache location you are describing is exactly where sinus headaches are located. Since you have never had the problem before, if the problem continues you need to see your doctor to determine the actual cause, ensure there isn't something else causing it and receive treatment if needed.  You might want to try an antihistamine like Sudafed to see if it stops the problem.  But be aware if your work requires random drug tests an antihistamine can cause you to fail it, so make sure you let the tester know you are taking it.

I Hope This Helps      Good Luck.
