frequent fainting

my dad is a 50 year old who has had an pace maker put in when he had that put in he didnt have an appetite but forced himself to eat anyway and this resulted in him loosing lots of weight but he recently got into and altercation and was pushed which caused him to have another surgery because the pace maker wasnt sending the shock to his heart as it should but after that he has been fainting very often he has had an MRI and blood test and they see nothing wrong with him?

Is the pacemaker actually working? Are the settings correct? It sounds like sounds like he may be going into a dysrhythmia and the pacemaker not kicking in, therefore causing him a lack of oxygen to brain so he passed out? He may be dropping his heart rate too low and the pacemaker not kicking in lick it should be, therefore causing him to pass out. Or he may not be eating enough due to loss of appetite, therefore causing him to have a hypoglycemic episode or low blood sugar, you may want to check his sugar periodically or question the doctor about this. Those would be the things that would come to mind first.

he has diabetes also but we try and make him eat like he should but the pacemaker was working fine until he got into the altercation and the doctors had to go in and fix something thats when the fainting started

i dont know what it is i just know that he has been fainting frequently and im trying to find out why since his doctors dont know anything
