If the "strong odor" is "fruity", then you require a test called the hba1c for diabetes. The fruity urine odor is caused by substances called ketones generated when then is insufficient insulin produced to match the circulating glucose levels.
it just means that you have a lot of wastes in your urine. that your kidneys are working harder to get the waste products out. if you drink more water/clear drinks it will help to clear out your kidneys and the urine will be less pungeant and colored.
Dehydration can also cause it so make sure you're drinking enough water.
If it doesn't go away in a day or so talk to a Dr. Urine odor can be a sign of infections (vaginal or UTI) and those can get nasty if they get to your kidneys.
It's most likely something you ate. It should go away in a day as long as you don't eat any of the food that is causing it.
Some foods are asparagus, onions, and garlic.
Or it could be certain kinds of vitamins you are taking too..
