You can get herpes by having regular intercousrse. It is not just spread VIA anal sex...You can also get it in the mouth from giving someone a "*******" There are various ways it is spread. Sorry!

Herpes can be contracted via many ways. I would ask the physician what kind they are and what type of meds to start. They never will be cured, but, with the proper medication, they can be held at bay so to speak.
