herpes zoster

I am not taking any other type of medication, I am always just low in vitamin D. My outbreaks are very often, I get the burning in the left side of my body, my face has a kind of tingling sensation, also in my tongue I get small blisters, Recently I got swollen glands, under my arms and neck. I am taking valacyclovir every day 500 mg. and when is the outbreak is 1 gm. three times a day and still I am so miserable with the burning. If I get the blisters is usually under my lower lip or inside my mouth (tongue). In january I was diagnosed with shingles and since then the outbreaks are every month. I had herpes simple on my 20's and I had outbreaks maybe once a year (I am 45 now) then last september I got a strong one and the next was in January. I am a woman, I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago, no complications. please any recommendation.
