high liver and cholesterol count

my sister just went to her family practice doctor today. she was told that her liver count was up  to 202 or 204.her cholesterol was up also. she just had blood work done back in aug/2008. these test all came back normal.her family doctor changed her blood pressure medicine.she has been taking over the counter claritin.she also has been taking 81mg aspirin.the doctor also found an infection in her ear,buld up of fluid. she is overweight and eat alot of pork. could any of these being causing the recent rise ?she is having an ultrasound on thursday.she is also taking lipitor. plus if she was not having any trouble with taking her blood pressure medicine then why should this doctor change them.she has been taking the meds for a long time.it only happen when she change her to a new medicine .the doctor told her that she may have tumors and/or fatty liver.i have read that a man ast was 497 and his alt was 795.how could a fatty liver cause thiscount to go up so high?please answer ASAP

I am 32 and have been on all kinds of Colesterol meds since I was 19! When you have a higer lipid count this will effect your liver. Because the fat does build up on your liver. I have gotten my colesterol under control with meds and diet and exersize. Also your sister may want to cut out white carbs because this can raise the lipid levels and inturn make her liver count very high. I know I had to give up almost all white carbs, but feel so much better. Good luck.
