lower right sided pain

I have had this pain since friday thinking i should have emptied my bladder sooner.
now the pain has returned I urinate  no burning or pain but then the lower pain starts again sometimes sharp then it goes away.
I had a hysterectomy in 99 but still have my ovaries and tubes.
I just turned 49 and have been on estrace for two years for hot flashes.
Could I have a ovarian cyst.
It is tender to touch in my lower right groin area.

Hi, My wife had an infection (mild cystitis) where she felt she had to urinate frequently and burning/pain when urinating but you sound like you are describing something different.  

Can you please update with some more details (how frequently and where you feel pain)?  If it persists you should probably see a local physician.

The pain comes and goes I woke up this morning and no pain.I took two advil before residing to bed last night seemed to aleviate it.
I will see how the day goes and if it continues I will contact my md in the morning.
I'm a pretty tough gal but when this is out of the norm for me I get concerned.
