migratory painful swelling in hand

migratory painful swelling in hand

I am a 38 yr old that has recently had painful swelling on my right hand in between the ring and middle finger. The skin is warm, red, painful to the touch and swelling.  Within less than a week the swelling has migrated to the outside edge, and underneath my index finger. I also am experiencing a tingling sensation on the outside edge of my finger where it is swollen. This morning when I woke up the swelling is now starting up between the pinky and ring finger. I do not have any pain or swelling where it initially started. It is just odd how it has slowly progressed through the top of my hand, to the underside of my index finger and now flaring up at the other end of my hand on top again. Swelling on my palm didn't happen until my index finger was affected, now that finger is very swollen. I'm relatively healthy, never been diagnosed with anything. I have done tons of research and can't find anything that migrates like mine has. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Thanks so much.
