ovaries not found

I recently had an ultrasound and my ovaries couldn't be seen? Where are my ovaries?

Hi,

I am not a doc.  But, age could be an issue.  Have you talked to a doc?

How old are you? Do you have periods? If you do, you have ovaries. Weight can be an issue and make things difficult to see. Also, they may be hidden behind other organs. This isn't normal, but it just might be the way you are.

Low down virtually in the groin,can be hidden by retroverted uterus,or fibroids pushing the ovaries lower.If you have not had them removed the person in charge of scanning might not be doing their job well!
