pelvic/stomach pain

pelvic/stomach pain

I have been diagnosed with IBS but do not agree with it at all. Food has no play in my stomach/ pelvic pain. I have pain EVERYDAY and it is almost constant. The pain is now moving upwards and also around to my back. I have been having this pain for about a year. All tests come back normal- transvaginal ultrasound, ultrasound, sigmoidoscopy, blood work. The pain is so bad at times I am nauseas. The Gastroenterologist just says I should eat lots a fiber and take a laxative....I disagree. Any ideas?

Could be gall bladder attacks , google Gall bladder and check the symptoms in gall bladder, the pain is severe and is usually located under the right ribs can radiate up into the shoulder and round into the back ..nausea can accompany it, it is food related , low fat food  is best , do not eat later in evenings make last meal early , again if you google there is a list of foods you can eat and food  to avoid.Good luck

I agree with Margypops, sounds like a gallbladder problem to me.  I would request a US of the pancreas and a HIDA scan.  I don't agree it is a lower intestinal problem.

Secondly, have you ever had a upper endoscopy done?
