rash and swollen lymph nodes

Hello,
I was hoping you could help me with my brother in law.  He gave blood a few weeks ago at NIH and with in a few days his arm was yellow, very swollen, and very sore.  He then developed a nasty rash all over his entire body almost.  He went to the ER where they told him he had a staph infection.  They gave him 2 super strong antibiotics which made him horribly ill for the duration and a body wash.  At the end of the antibiotic course he still had the rash and he saw a dermatologist who prescribed him another antibiotic and asked him to follow up this week.  He still has the rash, now has swollen lymph nodes in throat and groin and apparently his testicles are also hard.  As far as I am aware, no blood work has been done.  Can anyone please help?

they should do blood work to see how bad the infection is. he obviously still has the infection. staph infections can be hard to treat. it sounds like he needs another round of antibiotics. something different maybe. i hope he feels better soon. take care. Remar
