red raw swollen eyes

I have red raw burning eyes 4 weeks now , and swellen on my right hand side of my face it's very uncomfortable... .Any help i can get my Doc hasn't a clue !!!

Hello, OUCH, 4 weeks is way too long for this to have been going on.  If you are sure you haven't scratched, or gotten something stuck in your eye it sounds like you have an infection of the eye and probably need to see an Ophthalmologist. It could be a staph infection, or some type of bacteria infection that has set up.   It could also be possible that you have something like shingles that may have occurred around your eye.  Either try getting an appointment with an Ophthalmologist soon or check to see if your local ER has an eye doctor available in the hospital and go to ER.  Any drainage needs to cultured to determine the organism that is causing the problem so the proper treatment can be given.
