You have probably been prescribed Lasix or an equivelant, which is very appropriate.

Take the meds in accordance with your physician's instructions.

Also take 1000 mg crystaline vitamin C with food in two divided doses.. This is a mild diuretic.

Elevate the leg and consider walking or purchasing a rocking chair.

Generally they also prescribe elastic stockings.

The chances are it is not the foot that is the problem. It could be a vascular problem, it could be cardiac-related or it could be your kidneys.

It is best to get your own physician's opinion because there is no sense worrying about a heart problem you may not have.

Hello~I would ask your physician to pin-point the problem so anything serious can be ruled out. In the meantime, make sure your legs are elevated when sitting, take some B-6 as this is a mild diuretic, and do not wear any tight socks or knee highs as this can cut off the circulation to the ankle.
