right pelvic pain

sudden sharp right pelvic pain. Had before in 12/08 bilaterally and was bent over, excrutiating coud hardly walk.. Thought possibly kidney stones, seen by urology, KUB done abd tests ran on urine. Negative. Sometimes notice pain left side pelvis especially during ovulation but today sharp pain right side also radiated to buttock initially but subsided. Has eased up some but still constant

Have you had an ultra-sound to see if you have any ovarian cysts? Your symptoms sound very much like the ones gals get when they have these kind of cysts. I would ask you gyn to do a ultra sound on that area to rule this out, I have had them, and my pain was similar to what you are describing.

Thanks for the response. I have not had a recent ultrasound. I had a cyst removed from my left ovary about 5 yrs ago. At that time, I had a transvaginal ultrasound done. When I had pain it was associated more with my periods. It started as a small cyst and we watched it for about a year to see if got bigger, but pain increased so it was removed. I have a doctor's appt. this tuesday. Hopefully no more bad pains. I am a lot better but reserved wondering when it will hit again.
