sore throat

what would be a cracking or popping noise in my throat then it got really sore can't eat or drink. I has been sore for a week but now it is really sore after that happened

Did you look at your throat?  Shine a bright flashlight in there.  Take a breath, trying to lift the soft palate at the same time you push the back of your tongue down using your tongue muscles.  Check for any bruising of a burst blood vessel or postnasal drip or ugly tonsils or redness and swelling.  If it looks bad, you probably should see a doctor.
