swelling in ampit

hi!im ana.im having swelling in my armpit.this swelling is not from a week or month.its from almost two years.8 to 9 years back or more i use to feel pain in my arm pit and also in my breasts few days before periods and swelling in my right armpit which was sensitive to touch.sometimes i use to feel severe pain but after my periods had started after few days swelling disappeared and also pain.it happened every time before periods.it was a sort of indication for my periods i think.i went to a doctor she said its ok.now im married and have a 9 months old son.after my marriege i think when my pregnanacy started or some how before my swelling became permanent.im feeding my babystill.during pregnancy and after till this time it remains there.im so much worried.wat it could be.can any body tell me.waiting for reply

When is that last time you have seen a physician?  If it has been a while I would recommend seeing one and perhaps having an CT or US of the area.  How big is the area?  Is it soft or hard when felt?
