tests or suggestions atypical chest pain problem

Male age 73.Briefly had mild heart attack 2008, had angioplasty and no further problems in that area.Have increasing osteo arthritis, particularly hands. Now, since heart attack have had irregular, intrusive chest pain central and to right and into stomach. I have gastric reflux for years, and taking medication, and a recent endoscopy showed nothing untoward, also had gall bladder tests. Obviously, initially, worried all the time as  thought there were ongoing cardiac problems, but now accept to the contrary
Problem may be gastric (realise heart pain and heartburn etc. can be similar because of the vicinity)  or muscular, but how is this sorted out. Anxiety has also been muted. My good Doctor does not seem to think a scan would show anything.
What sort of scan may be of use for the chest (digestive and muscular areas), please? anyone feel this would be a waste of money, as I shall be paying. Does arthritis have any bearing on this condition as obviously there are bones, joints and muscles all over. Would love to draw a line under this for good, but like to feel I had considered everything sensible. Anybody feel it might have to be accepted as indefinable, as suggested by one Doctor.

It sounds like a possible gallbladder problem but you say you've already had tests for that and it was ruled out. Are you keeping up with all of the other tests you need, like your cholesterol? From what I know, which does not mean this is true or not, osteoarthritis would'nt necessarily be causing chest pain. Acid reflux can cause chest and stomach pain though.

It could be the acid reflux, or, it could be costochondritis, this can cause chest wall pain that mimics heart related pain.

As far as tests goes, an upper GI would probably show if there was anything digestive related going on, or, if you have an hiatal hernia, hiatel hernias can alsoe cause chest pain and the acid reflux.
