tissue mass

I passed a half dollar size "tissue looking" mass with two thin string looking tissues hanging.  I felt the need to urinate and then felt this come out in the toilet.  I have been experiencing some crampy like feelings and even "discomfort" in my kidney region.  the "tissue" I passed was not bloody looking.  I seriously doubt I am/was pregnant.  I am on day 26 so my period should be starting in a few days.  Not sure what to make of this.

To be on the safe side, I would check this out with your physician. It could be a type of kidney infection.
