Hi babyballup

When my husband and me got married we started trying for a baby. I tried all the advice everybody gave me and nothing seemed to work. Lots of sex was not the answer either, believe me!!
After four years of disappointment I started to do my own research. A couple of months later I was pregnant! Today I have 3 babies. (2, 3 and 5 years old.)

Let me share with you the recipe that worked for us. It’s a mouth full but really worth your while!

When the timing and uterine environment are both right, you only need to have sex once or twice to fall pregnant. Long periods of sexual inactivity may however cause your husband’s sperm to be less mobile. So be careful of that.

• First of all  – Do you smoke? If you do, quit now!!
Does your husband smoke? If he does ask him to quit as well!!
(Also – avoid alcohol at this time.)
Why? http://www.prostate-massage-and-health.com/Sperm.html

TIMING:

• Buy yourself a “Personal Ovulation Microscope”.
This will show you exactly when you are ovulating. A woman’s unfertilized egg is viable (alive) for about 24 hours after ovulation and sperm for about 5 days (in-uterine) after ejaculation. (Depending on in-uterine conditions and the health of the sperm.) This means to fall pregnant you must have sex within 1,2 or 3 days before ovulation (second best), on the day of ovulation (best) or lastly within one day after ovulation.
I bought my microscope from: www.fertile-focus.com
I still use mine, but nowadays to keep from falling pregnant. Funny hey!

UTERINE ENVIRONMENT
When trying to conceive, many things can hinder a favorable environment in your uterus.

FLUORIDE

• For myself the biggest hindrance was Fluoride.
Avoid Fluoride. Do yourself a favor and google “fluoride and fertility”.
http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/repro/
http://www.naturalnews.com/025779.html
I immediately switched to non-fluoride toothpaste. (Try A.Vogel’s, it’s good.)
I also stopped drinking tap water and we installed a 5-stage-reverse-Osmoses water purifier. (Avoid bottled water – in plastic bottles – because of the detrimental effects of Xeno-estrogens on your fertility and overall health. I’ll elaborate a bit on this with the next point on hormones)

HORMONES

This is a very big and complicated issue and I will only touch on a few important points.

•  Hormones and stress.

You have mentioned that you are a businesswoman and have little time; because of this you will definitely need a Progesterone Cream.

Why? A low level of the hormone progesterone lowers fertility in women and men and may also lead to miscarriage in women. The human body converts progesterone to cortisol (the stress hormone) to make adrenaline to deal with stress. In other words: stress steals progesterone from your body to keep you going in stressful or busy times.

Progesterone Cream: I suggest “Renewed Balance” by AIM. It works wonders.
If you want to conceive start applying the cream on the eleventh day of your cycle until the end of your cycle. (Day 11 - day 28/29/30/31 – depending on the length of your cycle.) Repeat.
Note: Start with less than the prescribed amount and gradually increase to the prescribed amount. Apply to soft skin for example inner arm or thigh and rotate areas of application. This ensures better uptake.

• As I said, beware of Xeno-estrogens.

(Bottled water, food in plastic containers or wrappings etc) Click on this link to read why:
http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/cancer1/xeno.htm

• Avoid stimulants.
(Like caffeine, this includes coffee, hot chocolate, energy drinks, chocolates etc)
Stimulants have a horrible effect on your endocrine (hormonal) system and drastically decrease fertility.

• Also Avoid sugar.
But NEVER use artificial sweeteners, especially if you are pregnant or trying to conceive. Sugar is not good for you but if you MUST choose between an artificial sweetener and sugar – rather choose the sugar!
Why? http://www.sweetpoison.com/aspartame-sweeteners.html

and http://www.nutralegacy.com/blog/general-healthcare/top-10-dangers-of-artificial-sweeteners/

Instead use small amounts of raw honey (The label must read: Raw, Unheated and Untreated)
Or Xylitol.

DIET

An acidic body chemistry makes it much more difficult to fall pregnant.
For one, when the sperm enters your body you want the environment to be good enough to sustain the little guys (keep them alive) for as long as possible – remember? Up to five days. An alkaline body drastically improves the environment in favor of the sperm amongst other great benefits to your own health and that of your baby.
Diet (and also moderate exercise and good relaxation) plays a very important role in the acid/alkaline state of your body.

• Eat lots (and I mean lots!) of raw fruits and vegetables (Preferably organic. Pesticides are acid forming in the body and obviously also toxic to you and your baby.) The leafy green vegetables are especially good for you at this time because of their high folic acid content, which improves fertility.
Note: limit the amount of nightshade veggies. (Potatoes, tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, tomatillos, tamarios, pepinos, pimentos, paprika, cayenne, and Tabasco sauce.)

• You are allowed to eat RAW nuts.

• Drink plenty of clean purified water to stay well hydrated. (Tea, soda, coffee, juice etc does not count!)

• Limit your intake of red meat to no more than three times per week. (Red meat is more acid forming in the body than white meat.)

• Limit your intake of pasta. (It is also a good idea to find out whether you are gluten intolerant!)

• Eat complex carbohydrates rather than simple starches. For example, brown rice rather than white rice. Tip: sprinkle Apple Cider Vinegar (MUST be APPLE CIDER vinegar!) about 5-10 ml over your carbohydrate. This helps digestion and has a more stabilizing effect on your blood sugar.

SUNSHINE

This is a very controversial subject, but it is well known that Vitamin D plays a major role in fertility as well as in your overall health.

• To sunbathe during the “safe hours” at least three times per week for 20 – 40 minutes at a time (without sunblock or sunscreen!) is not only acceptable but also actually advisable! You can wear a hat to keep your face out of the sun.
– The safe hours are usually from sunrise up until about 10 in the morning, then again after 3 in the afternoon until sunset.
If you live in a place where you rarely see sunshine I would recommend a Vitamin D spray called “Sunshine Mist” which you can buy from: www.mercola.com
Tip: never wear skin creams, make-up or lotions when sunbathing! Your skin needs to be clean. The objective is not to get a tan but rather to get your Vitamin D levels up!

Finally: respectfully ask your husband to wear boxer shorts instead of tight underpants. Check that his diet includes foods rich in Zinc or ask him to take a Zinc supplement. This will help those little critters to swim faster, further and stronger!

DO WHAT YOU CAN, ENJOY DOING IT AND RELAX!!

I hope this helps to lead to as much joy for you as it has for me!!

Laurette
