I agree with the others that you first need to find out why the sudden weight loss to make sure there is no health problem. They do have some prescriptions that help you gain a lot of weight. I would see a doctor and find out what is best for you.

This may be due to high metabolism. This is when the food you eat doesn't put any weight gain to your body, it gets burned off easily. Usually your metabolism decreases throughout your life as you get older. Are you eating as much? Are you confident about your body? Is something troubling you? Are you exercising too much? These are all questions that you should be asking yourself. I would advise you to see a dietician about your weight problems or a GP. The best way to get best answers and advice is to seek professional answers. Good luck.
A persons 'Normal' Weight is mostly dependent on an individuals Genetics. How do you compare with your family members? Diet and Exercise may also play a part (but less so).
What is your BMI? How much weight have you actally lost and over what length of time?
If you feel you have lost weight then I would encourage you to see your Doctor to rule out possible physical causes such as Hyper-Thyroidism, Diabetes and Chronic Disease. This can be done by a simple blood test.
If all is well you should keep a food diary (and exercise diary) for a couple of weeks and compare your calorie intake (and usage). A dietitian may be helpful for this.
