weird feeling in thorax

I sometimes feel a pulsating sensation in my abdomen or thorax. Sometimes it just feels like a rumble and that air is escaping. It happens either when i am completely relaxed or right after I run. I have had this for many years now (about 7).  I have went to the doctor and had an EKG and Echo done all of which turned out fine. It is annoying and sometimes scary and I worry since my dad did die of a heart attack. It usually only lasts for about 5 min at a time and then goes away. Sometimes it doesn't happen for months even but it always comes back. It almost feels like a balloon deflating in my chest. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank You.

The pulsating sensation is your blood presure, take it every time you fell this way and record it for two days . Then see your DR. and hand the results over to him ok?

It could be gas, do you notice it after you eat or drink water?

Maybe it's a muscle twitch or spasm?  Those are possibilities.  If it is occuring in your abdomen, it doesn't seem like it would be related to heart problems.  Sometimes I have a feeling like it's a baby kicking (I am a female so I remember the feeling from pregnancy) but I pass it off as an air bubble or gas.  For me, it could be a muscle twitch, too.  If you google 'muscle twitch in abdomen' you will find that many others experience this, too.
