what is wrong with my sunburn?

hi, so i don't really burn that often but i have quite fair skin so when i do burn it's pretty bad. The other day i was at the beach and fell asleep on my towel and the next day i woke up with a burn so bad all over my back it was almost a little purple. it was extremely painful and i obviously put tons of aloe on it. it seemed like it was going away since it was peeling and lightening up in most areas. but, the lower left side of my back is in excruciating pain up to my hip. sometimes it's fine but other times i can't move. i started soccer preseason the other day so i thought my back was just sore but it doesn't seem like it. i've been getting chills and it's super sensitive to lightly touch. i have a really high tolerance for pain so i've been able to play soccer and stuff and get through it but i'm getting really concerned because i've never had a sunburn this bad. i've read online about something called "pins and needles" but i don't think that's what it is. i've been icing it but when i put aloe on it, instead of cooling it and soothing the burn, it just hurts because my back is so sensitive. at this point it doesn't even feel like a burning sensation. someone please help!!

Time to see your doctor.  Do you think there is any way you were possibly stung or bitten by a bug?  Maybe I'm way off but it sounds like a reaction of some sort.  Let us know what the doctor says and good luck with soccer this season!
